The closed sleeve is positioned on the pipe before welding and moved over the prepared joint after welding. A polyethylene backing and hot-melt adhesive provide protection and sealing with the specified coating system.
Welded pipeline joints requiring a pre-fitted closed sleeve. Select the primer and sleeve configuration for the specified two-layer or three-layer protection system.
Pipe diameter: DN65–DN800, customizable. Standard width: 500 mm; custom width: 100–700 mm. Standard thickness: 2.0–2.5 mm; custom thickness: 1.5–3.0 mm.
Typical kits include the sleeve, two-component solvent-free epoxy primer, brush and stirrer. Carton or woven-bag packaging. Confirm kit configuration when ordering.
Ask for the applicable technical data sheet, inspection documentation and available test reports for your selected system. Referenced standards include GB/T 23257, GB/T 51241, ISO 21809-3 and EN 12068; compliance and acceptance requirements must be confirmed for the specific product and project.
Store at 5–30°C, below 75% relative humidity, away from heat and flames. The stated storage period is 12 months under the recommended conditions. Installation should follow the supplied technical instructions and the project-approved surface preparation, primer and heating procedure.
