Epoxy and fiberglass outer protective system for pipeline coatings exposed to abrasion during horizontal directional drilling.
Two-component epoxy + alkali-free glass fabric • Project-engineered protective build-up
Request a Product Quote Browse All ProductsModified solvent-free epoxy is combined with alkali-free glass fabric to form an outer protective layer over compatible pipeline coatings. The system is intended to resist abrasion and scratching during installation.
Horizontal directional drilling and trenchless pipeline installations where gravel, rock or other ground conditions can damage the underlying coating.
Epoxy component A is supplied in 25 kg drums and component B in 20 kg drums; these pack sizes are not a mixing ratio. Referenced glass-fabric weight: 200–400 g/m². Confirm resin ratio, layer count, finished thickness and curing conditions through the project-approved specification.
Separate resin components and glass reinforcement. Provide pipe diameter, crossing length, ground conditions and the existing coating system for a project-specific recommendation.
Request the current technical data sheet and applicable mechanical-performance test reports. Protective thickness, cure and acceptance criteria should be defined for the project.
Keep components sealed and protected from moisture, heat and contamination. Follow the batch-specific shelf-life, mixing, application and curing instructions supplied with the system.
Send the pipe outside diameter, operating conditions, existing coating, required dimensions, quantity, delivery destination and project standard. Our team can then confirm the appropriate system and provide a product-specific quotation.
